Day 1: Lake Ndutu
Depart Arusha in the morning for your drive towards Lake Ndutu, located at the South-eastern part of the Serengeti ecosystem.   Since the large plains usually dry up during the months of JUN/JUL there are still lots of resident herds heading back to Lake Ndutu. Large herds of wilderbeests and zebras are still around Lake Ndutu. After some game driving around the area you rest at your nice lodge the Ndutu Safari Lodge. Shaded by majestic acacia trees, each of the cottages , which are built of local materials, has a private verandah facing Lake Ndutu. The Lodge is surrounded by indigenous trees and shrubs which encourage a host of birds and mammals to come right to your front door. Tucked well away from the busy tourist circuit, Ndutu offers peace and tranquillity far from the madding crowd.

Day 2: Lake Ndutu - Ikoma
Early start today with coffee/tea served at your private verandah prior your early morning game drive to see also nocturnal predators returning from hunting and animals waking up in early morning light. After a hearty breakfast at your lodge you proceed to Naabi Hill for a short walk a the Naabi Hill Kopies before you will continue further into the Serengeti National Park for game drives all afternoon. The Serengeti is the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world and boasts many species of plain animals from hare to the elephant. The name Serengeti comes from the Masai word "Siringet" referring to an endless plain.

Day 3: ‘Great Migration’ at Serengeti
A full day of game drives around Serengeti. Depending on the time of year and the migration of the herds The famous 'Great Migration' is in full swing around Southern and Central Serengeti and the large herds of wilderbeests and zebras can be easily observed. Expect to see as well lions, elephants, giraffes, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos, antelopes, maybe even crocodiles and many birds and other species.

Days 4: ‘Great Migration’ at Serengeti
Another early morning game drive today. Leave early from your lodge with a packed breakfast which you will enjoy after some game driving at the beautiful picnic site close to the Seronera Visitors Center at the heart of Serengeti. This nicely designed centre offers some interesting wildlife displays as well as some information trail up and around a nearby kopje. Return to your camp for a late lunch being served outside in the shade of acacia trees. In the afternoon you can rest and enjoy your nice camp. If you would like to join, some interesting nature walk around the camp is offered.

Day 5: Serengeti -Arusha
After breakfast you return to Arusha with some game viewing en route with arrival late afternoon. Hot Lunch will be served at a lodge in Karatu before you proceed to Arusha.

NB – if you wish, airport transfers and overnights in Arusha can be arranged before your safari starts. Cost depend on the lodge of your preference, our 'welcome package' including private airport transfers and 1 x BB in Arusha can be offered from 95 USD pP /with 2 persons participating.
